NGVi’s Thomason to appear on radio show

Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) announces Leo Thomason, co-founder and executive director, will appear on the Dave Nemo Radio Show on Sirius radio channel 128 at 7 a.m. PST on Aug. 16, 2013.

Known world-wide as an expert in natural gas fueling and vehicle technology, Thomason has been invited to continue the conversation about natural gas infrastructure and technology and the opportunities that the fuel brings to the trucking industry that he and Dave had on a previous show, NGVi says.

“An increasing number of trucking companies across the U.S. are seizing the benefits of natural gas for their fleets, and NGVi is excited to be part of this transformation,” says Thomason. “The demanding and unique operating characteristics of heavy-duty trucks, combined with the enormous cost savings that natural gas enables, make this fuel the perfect choice for heavy-duty fleets.

“To better understand the differences between natural gas and traditional fuels, and the best practices involved for companies to operate a natural gas powered fleet, proper education and training is crucial.”

The Dave Nemo Show is a popular segment of the Road Dog Trucking Sirius radio, a station for professional truck drivers, broadcast to two million listeners across the U.S. and Canada.
