Borla’s black chrome tips are now available for the 2014-2016 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado.Borla Performance announced today that their new black chrome exhaust tips are now available on their cat-back system for the 2014-16 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado.
The black chrome tips are made from the same premium aircraft-quality, T304 austenitic stainless steel as their bright chrome tips.
In 2016, Borla will be expanding their black chrome exhaust tip options to several different car and truck platforms, giving customers even more options with the look and sound of their Borla exhaust system.

“The black chrome plating is extremely strong and like our bright chrome, is designed to last for years.”
Borla’s black chrome exhaust tips are also available separately as a weld-on application for current Borla systems with a 2 ¾-inch pipe diameter.
In addition, Borla has designed two square rolled black chrome tips specifically for Jeep Wranglers. Available is a 2 ¼-inch inlet, clamp-on tip for the 2012-2014 Jeep Wrangler equipped with a Borla Cat-Back™ exhaust or rear section and a 2-inch clamp-on tip for the Borla split rear exit cat-back exhaust or rear section.
All of Borla’s exhaust systems are made in the U.S. of aerospace-grade, T-304 stainless steel which is engineered to provide lasting durability against rust and corrosion.
The systems are designed in Borla’s Oxnard, Ca. research and development facility and built in their 320,000 sq. ft. production facility in Johnson City, Tenn. All of Borla’s exhaust components and complete exhaust systems for the street are backed by Borla’s Million-Mile Warranty.
