Hellwig Products released two new rear sway bars designed to correct handling issues on lifted Toyota Tacoma, Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks.
Both rear sway bars were made for vehicles that have been lifted two to four inches. The higher center of gravity of lifted trucks often presents handling concerns that can be addressed by a rear sway bar.
This direct bolt-on kit, made from heat-treated, solid chromoly steel, requires no drilling or welding and is designed to reduce body roll during daily driving, towing and hauling.
The ¾-inch rear sway bar for the Tacoma (P/N 7855) comes with adjustable end links and features three adjustment holes to allow for rate tuning to the driver’s specific load and driving style.
The 1-inch rear sway bar for the Colorado and Canyon pickups (P/N 7849) also comes with adjustable end links and provides two adjustment holes for rate tuning.
Hellwig also offers a front sway bar which will work on the lifted Tacoma (P/N 7719). This kit reuses the installed end links, regardless if they are factory length or from the lift kit. A stock height rear sway bar (P/N 7744) is also available, as well as tow/haul air suspension (P/N 6705) and multiple weight rating helper springs.
All components are made in the U.S. at Hellwig’s factory in Visalia, Ca. and includes all the necessary parts for installation. The powder-coated steel components feature a lifetime warranty.
