It’s got to be hard for the driver of this Dodge Demon to live down being beaten by a farm truck.

Whether it was a late start or some other mistake, Bruce Wilson’s diesel Ram 2500 flatbed, dubbed Flattie, pulls out in front fast at the ¼-mile drag strip at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Fla.

“I just smoked a Demon. What?! What now?! Flattie just smoked a Demon,” Wilson announces moments after pulling off the win.

The race is shown twice: at the beginning of the video and then later at 4:52.

While Wilson doesn’t reveal what Flattie’s got under the hood, there’s no mistaking the bottle of nitrous bolted down in the bed. During another race Wilson gets a little heavy-handed with the nitrous shot and kills the engine. Can’t win ’em all.

When Wilson’s not racing, he stays busy at his shop, After Hours Diesel, in Zephyrhills, Fla.
