Ameripride Services, a linen and uniform rental service, has begun testing five dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) delivery trucks in Omaha, Neb.

Green Alternative Systems (GAS) installed the fully operational Ford F-550 chassis with 6.8-liter V-10 engines using BAF Technologies CNG-dedicated equipment.

Fuel is gathered from the Metropolitan Utility District’s (M.U.D.) publicly accessible station on Interstate-80 in Omaha.

Sean Connolly, General Manager for Green Alternative Systems, says these two factors allow companies and individuals in the Omaha area to fill up quickly and efficiently while also realizing the economic and environmental benefits of using an alternative fuels converted vehicle.

Green Alternative Systems designs, converts, and installs dedicated CNG and Propane alternative fuel systems for buses, trucks and commercial vehicles.
