A.R.E.’s new DoubleCover truck bed cover offers the convenience of retractable and lift functions all in one cover.
The DoubleCover’s front hinging system is equipped with Lift Assist. Or, if you want to roll back the cover to access the bed, inset handles and a nylon pull strap are there to help.
We caught up with A.R.E. at SEMA and got a DoubleCover demo from regional sales manager Roger Louck (see video below).
The aluminum, matte black cover comes with a keyed lock, a 5-year warranty and features A.R.E.’s no-drill clamp installation.
“For 25 years we have been innovating and manufacturing fiberglass covers,” A.R.E. reports on its website. “The DoubleCover combines what we’ve learned from manufacturing hard covers with the need to still have full bed access. We now look to build on that storied history with the industry’s first, and only, retracting and hinged cover.”
