The Alabama-based company reports that the custom, spray-on coating is ideal for rocker panels, fender flares, complete exteriors and other automotive uses.
LINE-X Marketing Manager Chad Reinerston told Hard Working Trucks that LINE-X Ultra is comparable to the company’s thicker XS-350.
“You’re going to get the same level—even a little bit more—of the abrasion resistance, impact resistance and scratch resistance,” Reinerston said. “It’s everything that we’re famous for, but now you get something that’s a lot thinner and lighter.”
LINE-X Ultra is ideal in areas where a thin coating is needed, like around hinges and doors. The elasticity of the product prevents cracks and peeling. LINE-X coatings can be applied to new and used vehicles. As with other LINE-X products, LINE-X Ultra comes with a lifetime warranty.
“If you’re able to extend body life 5, 7 to 10 years, it’s well worth the cost in the long run,” Reinerston said.
