This Toyota TRD style performance scoop is designed for easy attachment and eliminates the expense and hassle of buying and installing an OE or aftermarket hood.
“This is a perfect way for restylers and Toyota Tacoma truck owners to give their vehicle an aggressive appearance, without the high cost and effort of installing a new hood,” said Billy Longfellow, Airdesign USA vice-president of design and engineering.
The hood scoop comes ready for installation coated in a high-quality, Mankiewicz satin black OEM paint finish, or it can be ordered with factory matched colors to easily blend into the vehicle’s hood, providing a custom appearance.
Airdesign has kept easy installation in mind. No drilling is required. The scoop is attached using only high-quality 3M tape and 3M 540 adhesive that is included with the kit.
Airdesign’s proprietary over-molding technology combines high-impact multi-layer Senoplast with an elastomer polyurethane that allows its products to exactly follow the contours of the vehicle to create a perfect fit.
