DEI has introduced a thin thermal barrier that is rated to withstand direct heat temperatures of up to 1200 degrees.

DEI’s Low Profile Heat Screen is made of Mylar and laminated to a glass fiber matting backed with a pressure sensitive adhesive that’s designed for easy application and high cohesion.

Heat Screen is cut-to-fit and can be applied to body panels, floor boards, gas tanks, fairings, and other areas requiring thermal protection. It can also be used as a low profile barrier under carpeting to lessen floorboard heat. It’s rated for up to 2000 degrees of radiant heat exposure.

Heat Screen, which is .060 inches thick, is a reflective material that is designed to adhere to a variety of surfaces, even or uneven, painted or unpainted.

Heat Screen is available in a 5-square-foot roll measuring 36 inches x 20 inches or a 10-square-foot roll at 36 inches by 40 inches.
