Husky launching wheel well guards for pickups

Updated Dec 11, 2014

Husky Liners says it will launch a new line of rear wheel well liners for trucks, which the company will be introducing as Husky Liners Wheel Well Guards. The liners are designed to both provide protection and enhance a truck’s appearance.

Scheduled to be available later this month, Husky Liners Wheel Well Guards cover and shield a truck’s exposed frame, painted metal components, struts and all suspension-related underpinnings in the rear wheel housing. The liners will also protect aftermarket air-suspension lift and fifth-wheel components, the company says.

Made from a highly durable, impact-resistant thermoplastic olefin, the liners’ primary benefit is to shield against the damaging effects of rocks, dirt and salt. A secondary benefit is the ease in which mud and road debris can be easily flushed from the wheel well.

“Our new Wheel Well Guards live up to Husky Liners commitment to develop innovative products that offer the ultimate in vehicle protection,” says Roger Tibbetts, Husky Liners’ Vice President of Sales in US and Canada. “Whether being used in a consumer or commercial application, the Husky Liners Wheel Well Guards let people confidently do what they do with the peace of mind that their vehicle is protected.”

While greatly improving the look of the wheel well with a vehicle-specific, contoured, flat black shield, added benefits of the Wheel Well Guards also include fast and simple installation, as well as Husky Liners’ lifetime guarantee.

The new liners are currently available for the following for 2007-13 Chevy Silverado 1500/2500/3500; 2014 GMC Chevy Silverado 2500/3500; 2007-13 GMC Sierra 1500/2500/3500; 2014 GMC Sierra 2500/3500; 2006-14 Ford 150; and 2011-14 Ford F-250/F-350
