Reading appoints new CEO

The Reading Group LLC has appointed Brian P. Nadel its Chief Executive officer, succeeding Mark Robinson who will maintain an active consulting role with the Company and the Board of Directors.

Robinson has been with Reading since February 2006 and has performed a variety of roles including CFO, COO and CEO.

“During his career, Brian has faced many of the same challenges and opportunities we see at Reading today,” as reported in a statement issued by Reading’s Board of Directors. “He is known for successfully delivering results, driving improved competitive positioning and delivering high-quality products. His style is to collaborate with his senior management team to improve performance and create higher levels of customer satisfaction that drive overall business success. He is exactly the kind of strategic leader we need for the aggressive growth planned at Reading. We are delighted that he has accepted the challenge to take Reading into the future.”

Nadel most recently worked with Dover Corporation, a large diversified industrial company, where he held a number of positions, including President of De-Sta-Co.; President of Marathon Equipment Company; and General Manager of Paladin.

Nadel began his career with the United States Navy where he served aboard nuclear submarines.
