A tow truck’s dash cam caught the dramatic moment when a work truck sailed over a highway median and crashed on top of three vehicles.
Two women were hospitalized following last week’s collision in Caboolture, Australia which led to the arrest of a 23-year-old driver whom police suspect was driving under the influence of drugs.
The accident occurred during a traffic jam. Video from a tow truck’s dashcam shows the pickup getting airborne over a highway median and landing on top of vehicles nearby.
Video shows the tow truck driver moving closer to the mangled cars and rushing out of his vehicle to help. Screams can be heard as others join in to help the victims, one of whom was trapped for an hour-and-a-half before being freed by firefighters.
