The 2018 Ram 1500 Tungsten Limited Edition was on display near other news-making FCA vehicles, including the 2018 Dodge Durango SRT and the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon–all an impressive reminder of FCA’s accomplishments in raising the bar on power and luxury.
Yes, the light frost, indigo interior of the Tungsten edition is striking, but it’s the soft touch of that nappa leather that’s most memorable. Look up and you’ll see a suede headliner. (Hmmm…can you think of any luxury cars that feature a suede headliner? We can’t).
“You feel like a million bucks when you’re sitting in this truck,” said Jim Morrison, head of Ram, FCA North America. “I would say that it is the most luxurious truck in the marketplace today.”
Berber floor mats can be snapped into place on top of all-weather mats for a nice touch. Power ports abound, even for those riding in back.
Check one out when you get a chance. The trucks will be arriving in showrooms during the third quarter.
