DPF regen cycle tripped the “Check Engine” light Friday.
Went to local Gulfport, MS, Chrysler/Jeep/Ram dealer who told me they didn’t “have time” to put a scan tool on truck or look at it until the middle of this week.
Finally called Lakeshore Chrysler in Slidell, LA, for help.
Drove the 50 miles and they had the truck in and out in less than 30 minutes. Great service.
Come to find out the fix was actually a new recall (N 19 / Rapid Response 13-024) for this make/model. A simple re-flash of the PCM.
Too bad our local Chrysler/Ram dealer wasn’t as informed or concerned.
