Hankook Tire today announced fleet availability of its new DH07 drive position/pickup and delivery tire and TH22 low platform trailer tire.
Both patterns will be showcased in Hankook Tire’s booth at the 2016 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky Exposition Center from Thursday, March 31 through Saturday, April 2.
Hankook’s new DH07 drive position/pickup and delivery tire is designed for medium and long haul service. Developed with a focus on improved durability, ride, and handling performance the DH07 incorporates a wider three channel zigzag groove tread pattern to prevent stone drilling, at the same time offering self cleaning ability.
The DH07’s belt structure has been improved for reduced heat generation. An optimized structure offers better ride and handling, while an improved bead design profile offers improved retreadability. The DH07 is available in three 19.5-inch sizes: 225/70R19.5, 245/70R19.5 and 265/70R19.5.
The new Hankook TH22 low platform trailer tire features a unique chip and cut compound for improved durability. Additionally the TH22 incorporates a unique belt structure to minimize deformation for lower rolling resistance, an enlarged carcass profile with a reinforced belt cord which also focuses on improved durability and a reinforced bead structure which is designed to enhance load performance. The TH22 is available in four 17.5 inch and 22.5-inch sizes: 215/75R17.5, 235/75R17.5, 245/70R17.5 and 255/70R22.5.
“The DH07 and TH22 offer fleets two new quality patterns for drive position and trailer applications,” says Brian Sheehey, senior director of commercial tire sales, Hankook Tire America.
Hankook currently offers 20 truck tire models providing coverage for all truck and bus tire service applications and is available at commercial tire dealer locations.
