Police in Brooklyn, New York say a drunk trash truck driver slammed into nine vehicles Saturday morning before finally coming to a stop on a sidewalk.

Video posted on Facebook shows a 2017 Mack refuse truck, driven by 40-year-old Anthony Castaldo, getting airborne just after striking two vehicles. The truck stops and Castaldo is seen walking on the sidewalk.

Amazingly, the only person to be injured was a police officer who fell while attempting to chase after Castaldo. The officer’s hands and knees were injured, according to the New York Post.

Police used a Taser to subdue Castaldo. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless driving, reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of an accident.

Castaldo was released from jail today after his brother and girlfriend posted his $5,000 bond. Castaldo works at Viking Sanitation which suspended him following the incident.
