New Air Intake System for Ford F-150 EcoBoost
aFe Power announces the Pro-Guard 7 Air Intake System for the 2012-2013 Ford F-150 EcoBoost V6-.3.5L (tt). This Stage-2 intake system produces 32hp and 35lbs x ft. torque and outflows the factory intake by 44 percent. The equal length dual tube design with H-pipe balance-tube increases intake air flow and velocity, allowing for quicker turbo response, increased horsepower and improved throttle response.
The air intake is enclosed in a durable 16-gauge, heat shield that uses the lower half of the factory air box, requiring no assembly. Two 360-degree, conical Pro-GUARD 7 air filters provide protection and flow for maximum performance; they’re constructed with 100 percent polyurethane for durability and multiple cleaning cycles.
