AEM Water-Methanol Injection
Daniel Parker at Truck Supply & Outfitters has spent the better part of today installing the AEM Water-Methanol Injection kit on Big Red.
Tomorrow he’ll install the gauges have it ready to roll. Then I’ll take the truck out on a 200-mile road trip to see how this works in improving fuel economy.
The towing test will have to wait until we have a suitable trailer load to pull; water-meth injection (windshield washer fluid) is said to greatly lower EGT.
