Aftermarket fog lights, work lights, HIDs, winches, phone chargers, laptops, GPS units, inverters, and a litany of other electrical components vital to your work pickup are just eye-candy unless there’s plenty of 12-volt power to keep them working.
Today’s vehicle manufacturers design the electrical systems to manage factory-option electrical components only up to the maximum of the vehicle’s factory charging system. Add more load and the stock battery system can’t adequately handle the load.
A second battery solves those issues.
Wrangler Power Products auxiliary battery tray kits are available as single trays and double trays, as well as universal or vehicle-specific.
The battery trays are precision cut 12-gauge steel and powder-coated or durability. Each kit contains the tray with hold-down, an isolation relay with cables and a Battery Manager system – all pre-wired for fast, hassle-free installation.
The dual-battery master switch can be placed where you can easily see the LEDs lights and control the three switch positions: Dual-On; Dual-Off; and Emergency-On.
