With power gains up to 25 horsepower and 30 foot-pounds of torque these two incredible “next generation” products are built specifically to give any truck enthusiast the power, style and control they’ve been waiting for. The all-new full-Color Screen (CS) Evolution and Color Touch Screen (CTS) Evolution represent the most advanced technology in engine tuning available today.
The 2012 GM/Chevy coverage offers the same great feature-rich benefits users have come to expect from Edge’s Evolution CS and CTS line of programmers. The Evolution CS and CTS support Edge’s MyStyle software that will allow users to create or load any custom image of their choice as the screen background. Now consumers can customize their product to suit their exact mood and style. The Evolution CS and CTS will also allow users to customize their gauge arc colors to match their new custom background images!
The Evolution CS and CTS programmers not only re-program the vehicle to improve power and performance but also double as gauge-display devices providing vital information about the performance of the newly tuned vehicle and can also act as a scan tool for reading and clearing trouble codes. The Evolution CS and CTS will allow 2012 GM owners to adjust their speedometer for tire sizes other than stock.
The Evolution CS and CTS products connect directly into the vehicle’s computer via the OBDII/diagnostic port and can read and display up to 8 parameters at a time from a list of dozens of engine parameters! The Evolution CS and CTS displays can be easily changed and configured to allow each user to view the data most important to them. Safety features with user-defined audible alerts as well as performance test features such as 0-60 and quarter-mile times are included. Both systems include light sensitivity meters that automatically adjust screen brightness for improved viewing for day or night driving.
The Evolution CS model features a full-color, high-resolution 2.4-inch, button-controlled screen. The Evolution CTS model is a full-color, high-resolution 4.3-inch touch screen that comes equipped with a video-in port allowing users to connect to Edge’s state-of-the-art backup camera (sold separately including night vision and locking license plate mount!) or any compatible off-the-shelf backup camera or DVD player.
Both models are designed to work in conjunction with the all-new Edge Accessory System (EAS) which allows users to connect multiple future accessories to the product.
