Cold Flow fuel conditioner
Freezing weather does all kinds of nasty things to diesel fuel. The fuel can gel, water accumulation gets worse and things like paraffin can start to separate out.
It really doesn’t matter how big and bad your new snowplow setup is if your diesel truck won’t start when the temps plummet. Some guys will dilute the fuel with kerosene, but that also dilutes the energy content of the fuel.
A better solution is to use a product designed specifically for these conditions like the CFI-1000 Cold Flow Improver from Bell Performance.
According to the company CFI-1000 will result in easier starting, better fuel economy, less engine wear and lower fuel costs when temps dip below 32 degrees. It eliminates fuel line freeing and fuel filter icing, reduces corrosion due to moisture and reduces water condensation.
