Meritor WABCO has received the 2012 Excellence in Quality Award from Hino Motors Manufacturing USA, Inc.
According to Meritor WABCO, this award recognizes the company achieving a perfect 0 parts per million (PPM) defect rate during the 2012 calendar year. Meritor WABCO supplies Hino with pneumatic and hydraulic anti-lock braking (ABS) systems for vehicles built in Williamston, W.Va., and Woodstock, Ont., Canada.

In addition to the 0-PPM quality performance, Meritor WABCO’s on-time delivery performance was 100 percent for 2012.

The award was presented to Meritor WABCO at the Hino 2013 Annual Business Meeting in Plymouth, Mich. on June 6, 2013. This is the third time in five years Meritor WABCO has been honored with this award, the company says.
