Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you need a dump truck but simply don’t have access to one? Sure you have! Bruks, an Arbrå, Sweden-based material handling equipment manufacturer, is banking on that happening more often that not.

The company’s Drive-Thru Truck Dumper turns every truck into a dump truck by lifting the entire unit and allowing bulk loads to slide right out of the rear doors. The design gets bonus points for allowing drivers to position the truck and trailer without the need to back into place.

The tipping platform has been designed to survive under extreme high-use conditions typical of most processing facilities and has a life expectancy of 2 million cycles – more than 25 years of full-time service.

The platform can be customized to lengths of 45 to 85 feet and handle weights of up to 180,000 pounds. It is designed to raise to a maximum angle of 65 degrees. Bruks claims the full lift and lower cycle can be completed in about three-and-a-half minutes.

Getting your hands on one of these can be a little tricky, though. The only dealer in the U.S. is based in Alpharetta, Ga. If you’re willing to drive to Canada, you have three more options.
