Mercedes-Benz plans to debut its Metris midsize van at The Work Truck Show 2015 March 4–6 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind.

Metris is one of more than 100 new commercial vehicles and related products set to debut at North America’s largest work truck event. Additional chassis OEMs with press conferences scheduled at the event include Ford Commercial Vehicles, Ram Commercial, Freightliner Trucks and International Truck. More than 60 other exhibiting companies also have announced plans to introduce their latest equipment and technology at the Show.

“If you want to see what’s new in the vocational truck world, The Work Truck Show is the place to be,” says Steve Carey, NTEA executive director. “Leading manufacturers use the Show as an opportunity to introduce new equipment and technology to the industry.”

Metris is expected to be available in cargo and passenger versions with a long wheelbase, 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine and rear-wheel drive (the European Vito has rear-, front- and all-wheel-drive options) beginning with the 2016 model year.
