More than 3,500 transportation leaders — fleets, technology companies, OEMs, fuel providers, infrastructure developers, and policy makers — will come together for the four-day program, May 5-8, making ACT Expo 2014 the largest clean transportation conference in North America’s history, promoters say.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for clean transportation,” said Erik Neandross, CEO of Gladstein, Neandross & Associates, the clean transportation and energy consulting firm that produces the conference. “Momentum is building in every alternative fuel sector — including greater vehicle sales, expanded infrastructure, and more favorable policies to pave the way for AFV adoption. ACT Expo provides a unique setting for fleet managers to learn about the latest clean vehicle technologies, as dozens of our 200 plus sponsors and exhibitors are debuting new products right here on the show floor.”

ACT Expo’s program is tailored to educate fleet managers on the wide range of clean transportation options across all weight classes and alternative fuel types —including natural gas, propane autogas, electric, hybrid, hydrogen fuel cell, DME, clean diesel, and renewables.

Program highlights include:

Fleet Case Studies: Attendees will hear AFV deployment case studies from Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola Refreshments, Enterprise Holdings, Frito-Lay, Golden Eagle Distributors, LA Metro, New York City DOT, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, Penske Trucking Leasing, Portland Public Schools, Sysco Food Services, UPS, Verizon Communications, Waste Management, among many others.

Expo Hall and Ride & Drive: The sold out show floor will feature more than 200 of the clean transportation industry’s leading fueling, equipment, and technology providers. Attendees will see more than 70 alternative fuel vehicles, with the ability to test drive many of them in the Wednesday Ride & Drive event.

The Expo Hall is open to the public at no charge on Wednesday, May 7 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Thursday, May 8 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

ACT Expo 2014 will host some of the top names and transportation leaders across the alternative fuels and clean vehicle technologies arena.  A detailed list of this year’s sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, off-site tours, and vehicles is available at www.actexpo.com.
