Buyers Products expands snow plow line

Buyers Products has expanded the SnowDogg municipal series reversible snow plow line with the addition of its new, smaller-sized 36-in. plow.

The smaller municipal plow, for use on Class 6 and above trucks with a minimum 26,000-lb. gross vehicle weight rating, is ideal for areas that receive lower average snowfall and do not need bigger and heavier plows, the company says.

     Weighing 1,350 lbs., the new municipal plow features 10-gauge carbon steel and is reinforced with six 1/2-in. by 3-in. ribs and a bushed 1-1/4-in. pivot point for strength and rigidity. The plow is available in two sizes, 10 ft. and 11 ft., and features a full moldboard trip with adjustable external compression springs and three-position attack angle from 5 to 20 degrees, the company says.

“This new municipal plow has all of the strength and quality of the larger SnowDogg municipal reversible plows but is smaller and lighter to fit the needs of our customers who don’t need the bigger heavier plows,” says Frank Dickinson, municipal sales manager at Buyers Products. “This plow is an excellent option for areas that need to plow but don’t receive large amounts of snow.”
