Rihm Kenworth has been named the Kenworth Medium Duty Dealer of the Year for the United States and Canada in 2012, taking home the award for the second year in a row.
The award was presented last month at Kenworthâs dealer meeting at the PACCAR engine manufacturing plant in Columbus, Miss.
After an excellent sales year in 2011, Rihm Kenworth nearly doubled its medium-duty truck sales in 2012 to become the first repeat winner of the award since 2007.
âWe certainly did not rest on our previous success,â says Kari Rihm, president and CEO of Rihm Kenworth, which has locations in St. Paul, Albert Lea and Sauk Centre, Minn., and Superior, Wis., and sold more than 300 Kenworth medium-duty trucks in 2012.
âWe wanted not only to exceed our medium-duty truck sales goals, but more importantly, our customersâ high expectations for quality and service,â Rihm says. âWe continued our focus on medium-duty trucks by adding medium-duty salespeople, expanding product and sales training for employees, and further strengthening our customer relationships. To receive the Kenworth Medium Duty Dealer of the Year award for the second year in a row is deeply gratifying.â
Kenworth says the annual Kenworth Medium Duty Dealer of the Year Award recognizes outstanding leadership and dealership focus on growing Kenworthâs medium-duty truck business, which features the Kenworth T170, T270, T370, T440 and T470 conventional trucks, and K270 and K370 cabovers.
âRihm Kenworth is no stranger to success in medium duty because of the strong commitment and dedication to continually improve and provide customers with excellent Kenworth medium duty trucks and outstanding support after the sale,â says Gary Moore, Kenworth general manager and PACCAR vice president. âAs we celebrate our companyâs 90th anniversary this year, weâre particularly pleased to be honoring Rihm Kenworth since it is one of the oldest, continuously operated dealerships in the Kenworth dealer network.â
