The Juice with Attitude add-on module is available in two different models for the 2016 Ram, both of which offer impressive boosts in horsepower and torque.
“It definitely helps to get rid of a lot of turbo lag,” said Mark Hayward, Edge Products inside sales representative.
Engine performance depends on the model and setting. Model CTS2, item 31507, for the 2013 to 2016 Ram 6.7-L Cummins diesel can deliver up to 180-hp and 480 foot-pounds of torque.
“With the timing integration that we do on that truck, we’re able to get good numbers out of it,” Hayward said.
Safety features include cold engine protection, backdowns and a turbo timer.
The monitor, which comes with a suction-cup windshield mount, keeps tabs on a variety of critical measurements, including turbo boost pressure, speed, RPMs, gear setting and exhaust gas temperature. It features multiple screen layouts and touch-screen menu navigation. Performance tuning for mileage, towing and daily driving is available.
The CS2 module mounts under the hood. Other components with the kit include an injector harness that plugs directly into the injectors and an exhaust gas temperature probe. Installation takes about an hour, Hayward said.
Based in Ogden, Utah, Edge Products was founded in 1999 and is part of the MSD Performance Family.
“We have some of the best engineers, and we’ve been doing Juice with Attitude products ever since the company started,” Hayward said.
