Chevy aimed high with its 2020 Silverado HD and has earned plenty of attention for best-in-class towing, a new 6.6-liter gas engine, a segment-exclusive 10-speed Allison transmission, best-in-class truck bed volume, and a new Advanced Trailering System.

In getting past the headlines to learn more about the truck’s fleet appeal we talked with Ed Peper, vice president of GM Fleet, and John Schwegman, GM’s director of commercial product and medium duty vehicles.

Peper and Schwegman’s tour of the truck includes ease of upfit, additional bedside steps, class-exclusive up and down tailgate assist, best-in-class headroom and high-tech features that offer increased convenience and safety.
