Built hurricane tough

Hurricane Michael tore through Florida last week, snapping tress, toppling buildings and causing millions of dollars of damage.

This picture, showing an F-150 seemingly undamaged by the large tree that crashed down on it. Has been making the rounds on Twitter.

F-150’s transition to an aluminum body has provided some interesting chatroom fodder since it debuted for the 2015 model year, but the 6000-series aluminum used in A-pillar area is clearly up to some unusual (and heavy) challenges.
