Ford Tweet shows 2017 Raptor tops in horsepower, torque

Some Tweets catch your attention, as was the case Sunday when Mike Levine, Ford product communications manager for North America, posted a chart on Twitter comparing the horsepower and torque of the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor to some of its competitors’ trucks.

Hard Working Trucks contacted Ford and got that chart plus some others, which we’ve posted below.

The 3.5-liter High-Output EcoBoost V6 in the 2017 Raptor is certainly a testament to the old adage less is more. Granted, the model years vary, but still, the numbers are impressive and make one think about the future of the storied V8. The data on the charts is public SAE shared information.
