With the exception of one model, mid-size trucks across the board enjoyed increased sales for May, while Ford was the only automaker that had an increase in full-size pickup sales compared to this same period last year.
Nissan’s mid-size Frontier had the greatest sales gains in May of any pickup, with a 46 percent increase in deliveries compared to May 2015.
Sales of Ford’s F-Series pickups increased nine percent during that same time. Deliveries of all other full-size pickups dropped, with Nissan Titan taking the worst hit of all with a 24 percent drop in sales.
