Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon recalled

Certain 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and certain 2015 GMC Canyon trucks have been recalled over an electrical issue within the steering gear connector.Certain 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and certain 2015 GMC Canyon trucks have been recalled over an electrical issue within the steering gear connector.

General Motors is recalling certain model year 2015 Chevrolet Colorado trucks manufactured between Jan. 6 and March 17 2015 and certain model year 2015 GMC Canyon vehicles manufactured between Jan. 6 and March 19, 2015.

A poor electrical connection within the steering gear connector may cause a loss of power steering assist.

GM will notify owners. Dealers will replace the steering gear pinion sensor cover assembly, free of charge. GM has not yet provided a notification schedule.
