General Motors is recalling certain model year 2015 Chevrolet Colorado trucks manufactured between Jan. 6 and March 17 2015 and certain model year 2015 GMC Canyon vehicles manufactured between Jan. 6 and March 19, 2015.
A poor electrical connection within the steering gear connector may cause a loss of power steering assist.
GM will notify owners. Dealers will replace the steering gear pinion sensor cover assembly, free of charge. GM has not yet provided a notification schedule.
