Titan XD dubbed ‘Best Pickup Truck of 2016’

The all-new 2016 Nissan Titan XD has been named “Best Pickup Truck of 2016” by Cars.com and PickupTrucks.com.

Cars.com and PickupTrucks.com editors called Titan XD Nissan’s “first significant attempt to compete in the highly competitive and profitable full-size pickup truck marketplace.”

Futher, editors noted the Titan XD as ‘tweener’ model “that sits smack in the middle of the well-established 150/1500 and 250/2500 pickup truck segments.”

The pickup’s Cummins 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel engine drew much praise, dubbed the truck’s “secret weapon.”
