The first owner of a Nissan Titan XD in Mississippi is reportedly battling historic flooding in the Magnolia State as he races against time to move out of his deer camp.
Andy Jones of Indianola is credited with being the first in his state to buy the highly anticipated truck.
WLBT in Mississippi reports that Jones paid $61,000 for his truck which was manufactured in nearby Canton, Miss. It’s unclear what version of the Titan XD Jones purchased, though it may be the Platinum Reserve four-wheel-drive. Prices start at $60,520 for that particular model.

“Jones’ $61K truck came right on time. He is working on moving out of his soon-to-be flooded deer camp on the Mississippi River,” the Dec. 29 WLBT article states.
Parts of Mississippi are reporting record flooding this week.
The National Weather Service states that about 400 rivers effected by recent rains in the nation’s midsection, which includes the Mississippi River, are over flood stage.
CNN reports that historic flooding is expected in some areas.
Calls to Jones’ office went unanswered Wednesday.
