Classic work truck makes appearance at the 2015 NTEA/The Work Truck Show
It’s the consummate work pickup: Chevrolet’s classic 5-window 1/2-ton, known as the “Advanced Design” era produced between 1947-1953.
We spotted this one tucked away at the Silent Drive booth at the 2015 The Work Truck Show in Indianapolis. It’s the company owner’s work truck which has spent most of its life on a farm in Iowa.
The “3100”emblem on the side shows it’s a 1/2-ton.
It’s clean and sports a few dents here and there, showing this one’s no trailer queen.
