Ford Design Team Focused On The Intuitive Features In 2015 F-150s
It’s all about touch and how we use our work trucks that were the focus of Ford’s design team that concentrates on the little things we never even think about.
“If I do my job, the customer simply intuits that things are right – both inside and outside of their truck – without even having to think about it,” said Cary Diehl, Ford human factors engineer, who worked on the design and development of the all-new F-150.
Of the hundreds of details that are looked at in designing a new pickup, Ford says there are 10 features of the soon-to-be-released pickup that were designed to satisfy customers without them ever even noticing.
