Ford’s integration of aluminum into the construction of its flagship F-150 may have shed upwards of 700 pounds of weight, but it helped add some bulk to the sticker price.

Aluminum wasn’t the only driver of costs as Ford added several new standards to its trucks at every trim level. New standard features include a 2.3-inch display in gauge cluster; 4.2-inch LCD with MyFord for audio system; Telescoping steering wheel; Two additional speakers and driver’s grab handle.

The higher-end King Ranch Lariat and Platinum pickups saw the biggest price increases of $3,515 and $3,055 over their 2014 models, respectively, goaded by high-end tech comforts. The King Ranch features a push-button start, LED cargo lighting, LED mirror spotlights and two 400 watt power outlets among other add-ons. The Platinum series piles on heated seats and steering wheel, massaging front seats and real wood interior pieces.

It’s worth noting that, while the F-150 models have all increased in price, Ford’s most popular engine option – the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 – fell $100 to $1,995. Upgrading to Ford’s 2.7 EcoBoost will set you back an additional $495.

Below is the pricing for each new F-150 model, including a $1,195 shipping fee.

  • XL base model: $26,616. (An increase of $395 from 2014). Standard configuration is regular cab, rear-wheel drive and a 6 and a half-foot bed.
  • XLT (Ford’s best-selling trim): $31,890. (An increase of $395 from 2014). Standard configuration is regular cab, rear-wheel drive, and a 6 and a half-foot bed.
