Low Viscosity Mobil Delvac 1™ LE 5W-30 Delivers

ExxonMobil just introduced Mobil Delvac 1 LE 5W-30, a low-viscosity, synthetic diesel engine oil formulated to deliver outstanding engine protection and valuable sustainability-related benefits, including enhanced fuel economy as well as potential and
long drain intervals.
Mobil Delvac 1 LE 5W-30 is recommended for diesel-powered commercial vehicles, such as, trucks, buses and vans and a
range of off-highway equipment used in the construction, mining and agriculture industries.
It also meets or exceeds an extremely broad range of industry and manufacturer specifications.
In extensive on-track testing, Mobil Delvac 1 LE 5W-30 demonstrated its ability to help enhance fuel economy versus conventional 15W-40 engine oils.
Evaluations were conducted at the Pecos Research & Testing Center, in Pecos, Texas, using 2012 Freightliner Cascadia trucks, loaded to 94 percent gross vehicle weight (circa 75,000 lbs.) and 2011 Isuzu NPR-HD trucks, loaded to 90 percent gross vehicle weight (circa 12,560 lbs.).
When used in combination, Mobil Delvac 1 LE 5W-30, Mobil Delvac
Synthetic Gear Oil 75W-90 in the rear axle, and Mobil Delvac Synthetic Transmission Fluid 50 demonstrated statistically significant fuel economy* results compared to mineral lubricants.
The use of Mobil Delvac 1™ LE 5W-30 and other Mobil Delvac-branded synthetic lubricants was shown to improve average fuel economy gains by 3.4 percent for city driving conditions and 2.8 percent fo highway driving conditions in the Isuzu trucks, while average fuel economy gains of 1.5 percent for
city driving conditions and 1.0 percent for highway driving conditions were observed in the Freightliner Cascadia trucks when compared to using conventional, mineral lubricants.
