Achieve power and control with Edge Products’ Evolution CS and CTS programmers, which feature color screen and color touch screen technology. The programmers are designed for the 2010-11 Chevy/GMC 1500 V-8 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L and 6.2L, the 2009-10 Ford F150 4.6L and 5.4L and the 2001-10 Chevy/GMC 4500/5500 Kodiak/TopKick Duramax Diesel trucks. The programmers double as gauge display devices, providing information about not only the performance of the vehicle, but also reading and clearing trouble codes via scan tools. The CS and CTS, which connect to the truck’s computer through the OBDII/diagnostic port, reads and displays up to 8 of dozens of engine parameters. These parameters are changeable based on importance to the user.
Safety features that use audible alerts are user defined, and performance test features are included. Light sensitivity meters automatically adjust screen brightness. Rugged cases, a universal window mounting system and custom pods enhance the programmers’ look and usage. Edge’s MyStyle software allows users to create or load custom images as the screen background.
The Evolution CS model has a 2.4-inch button controlled screen, and the Evolution CTS has a 4.3-inch touch screen with a video-in port enabling users to attach a backup camera sold separately. The programmers have a starting price of $439.00.
