Wireless Air Command Lets Driver Control Air Springs On The Fly
Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC offers Wireless Air Command™ – an air- accessory system that provides an instant air source for Firestone’s Ride-Rite™, Sport-Rite™ and Level-Rite™ air helper springs using a wireless control box.
The Wireless Air Command’s modular configuration allows users to easily adjust Firestone air springs both side-to-side and front-to-rear to maintain ride quality during varying load capacities and road conditions.
The system features three preset buttons that drivers can store for their most frequently used air pressure settings.
“The wireless system also allows for leveling outside the vehicle so drivers can increase or decrease air pressure up to 50 feet away, while visually inspecting the vehicle’s ride height and checking the air pressure inside the springs while the vehicle is loaded,” explained Todd Green, regional sales manager, Firestone Industrial Products, Ride-Rite™ division.
