Air-Over-Leaf Suspension
Firestone’s R4Tech is a patented hybrid air-over-leaf suspension system that gives you the cushy ride quality of an air suspension with the axle control and easy installation of a leaf spring.
The smooth ride reduces driver fatigue, especially when driving unloaded. When you’re accelerating under heavy loads, the system stops axle windup, brake hop and axle shudder.
The kit includes load-adaptive shocks that vary their stiffness based on the air spring pressure. Available for dozens of different truck models and configuration, the R4Tech installs in the same footprint as the OEM leaf suspension and uses the same mounting holes.
