New Intercooler Tube Upgrade for 2001-05 GM Duramax LLY/LB7 with the 6.6L improves air flow by 40-percent
Diesel performance parts innovator advanced FLOW engineering (aFe), an industry leader in performance intakes, filters,
manifolds and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of their new cold side intercooler tube upgrade for the 2001-05 GM Duramax LLY/LB7 with the V8-6.6L (td) motors part number 46-20048.
This cold side intercooler tube is constructed out of huge, mandrel bent 3” 409 stainless steel and is
powder-coated for maximum cooling efficiency. Two heavy-duty, 5-ply aramid reinforced couplings give this upgrade the much-needed strength to easily withstand high boost pressures and maintain reliability.
All hardware including constant tension t-bolt clamps is supplied for an easy installation. This system
also includes two 1/8” NPT bung for gauges and other performance inputs.
