1999-2008 F-350 diesel fuel tank delamination; Ford issues service bulletin
Some owner’s of 1998-2008 Ford F-350/450/550/650/750 diesels experienced delamination of the diesel fuel tank, resulting in a loss of power due to debris clogging the fuel filters.
In some cases the fuel injection pump and/or fuel injectors have also been damaged.
Ford issued a service bulletin (#19728) addressing this concern.
