Free propane conversion/installation class
Transfer Flow, Inc. offers special propane conversion and installation training program May 26 
Transfer Flow, Inc., in collaboration with Alliance for Workforce Development, Inc., NoRTEC, and California Employment Development Department, will launch Northern California’s Propane Conversion and Installation Training Program.
The event will take place at Transfer Flow’s Chico, California facility on Thursday, May 26.
The Program will include an overview of alternative fuels and advanced technology vehicles, propane vehicle training and hands-on installation of a liquid propane autogas system. The training is funded by the California Energy Commission’s Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technologies Program (ARFVTP).
Trainees in the free week-long certified course will receive classroom instruction as well as hands-on training on installing a ROUSH CleanTech propane autogas fuel system at Transfer Flow.
The training is certified by the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium and is open to fleet managers, service and maintenance personnel, auto mechanics, first responders, conversion companies and those with ASE certificates. There will be multiple training classes held, and reservations will be taken at the May 26 event.
