BIG FRAC’ING RAM
Albert Aguero hasn’t found a muddy road his 2010 Ram 3500 Mega Cab 4×4 Dually diesel can’t get through to check oil and gas wells or see how his Aguero Construction crews are doing setting up drill sites. Cotula, Texas-based Aguero and his business partner also own Premier Eagle Ford Services, which specializes in support services hauling equipment, sand and water used to “frac” oil wells after they are drilled.
The roads and drill sites in this region of Texas test contractors and construction company pickups to their limits, so having them equipped for such use is paramount.
“I need to get in and out of the oil and gas fields regardless of the conditions,” says Aguero. “So I had 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers in San Antonio set up my new Ram so I can go to any of our jobsites regardless of what the Texas countryside and weather can throw at me.”
Aguero’s rolling office is perched on an 8-inch Rock Krawler suspension lift to clear the 37×13.50/17 TSL Super Swampers wrapped around chrome KMC XD Rockstar wheels. A Warn 16.5ti winch, a trio of ProComp 130 8-inch HID driving lights integrated nicely into a custom-built South Texas Outfitters front bumper, and HID-converted headlights provide an added margin of safety and security as Aguero goes about his daily work in the oil fields.
Ameraguard sprayed in a color-matched bedliner and coated the bumpers. Amp Research power steps, a 1,500-watt Rockford Fosgate 3SIXTY integrated sound system and deep-tinted windows round out this big boss’ frac’ing nice ride.
