Browning® Brings Back the A-Bolt® Shotgun
Browning® is reintroducing what is considered by many deer hunters as one of the finest shotguns for shooting slugs; the A-Bolt® shotgun. This 12 ga, 3-inch chambered shotgun looks, handles and feels like a Browning A-Bolt rifle. It features the same 60◦ bolt handle lift, easy-to-reach tang safety and a great trigger.
The A-Bolt shotgun will come with a 22-inch fully rifled barrel with a 1 in 28-inch twist designed exclusively for use with sabot-type shotgun slugs. An adjustable rear site and TRUGLO®/Marble’s® fiber-optic front site is included. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope mount. A detachable magazine attaches to a hinged floorplate and holds two shells with an additional one in the chamber. Extra magazines are available for purchase.
Three models of the A-Bolt shotgun are being offered in 2011: the A-Bolt Shotgun Hunter, the A-Bolt Shotgun Stalker and the A-Bolt Shotgun Mossy Oak® Break-Up® Infinity. The Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity model features the camo pattern on the stock and a low-luster finish on the barrel and receiver.
