DEF Tank Protector
The Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tanks on GM heavy-duty diesel pickups is vulnerable to hits from road debris and off-road encounters, and without DEF fluid your new pickup isn’t going anywhere. So OR-Fab designed a heavy-duty 3/16-inch-thick steel skid plate for the DEF tank on 2011 GM 2500 HD pickups.
The skid plate protects the DEF tank when the vehicle is subjected to off-road conditions, and delivers piece of mind to anyone worried about damage from highway debris that might be kicked up by the passenger side tire.
It easily bolts on without any drilling to protect the tank from punctures, dents or being crushed against a rock.
