aFe Power says it has released a Stage-2 air intake system with cover for the 2012-13 Ford F-150 EcoBoost V6-3.5L.

The company says this Stage 2 air intake system produces 32hp and 35lbs. x ft. torque and outflows the factory intake by 44 percent.

aFe’s equal length dual tube design with H-pipe balance-tube increases intake air flow and velocity which improves turbo spooling for added horsepower and improved throttle response. The air intake is enclosed in a 16-gauge heat shield that utilizes the lower half of the factory air box.

This kit also includes a vacuum formed plastic cover which lowers intake noise without sacrificing power.

Two, 360-degree conical Pro 5R or Pro Guard 7 air filters provide protection and flow for maximum performance and are constructed with 100 percent polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The vacuumed formed cover creates a clean, under-hood look while reducing air intake noise without sacrificing power. This cover bolts right up to the air intake housing for a simple, hassle-free installation.

This intake utilizes dual oval conical performance air filters for maximum flow. aFe Power developed this heat shield to snap onto the top of the lower half of the factory air box to provide a hassle- free installation utilizing factory mounting locations.
