aFe Power has released its Momentum HD Air Intake System for the 2014 GM Silverado/Sierra 1500 V8-5.3L
The Stage-2 air intake system combines a 3-1/2” diameter black powder-coated aluminum tube and a 7-1/2” Pro 5R air filter with inverted top to generate 30 percent more airflow.
The Pro 5R air filter uses five layers of progressive, oiled cotton gauze media and provides maximum flow for increased horsepower and torque.
The air intake is enclosed in a an 18-gauge heat shield that utilizes the lower half of the factory air box that requires no assembly for 15 minute installation. aFe developed this heat shield to snap onto the top of the lower half of the factory air box to provide a quick and easy installation utilizing factory mounting locations.
This intake replaces the factory intake box and the factory inlet tube. All hardware and components are included for a hassle-free installation.
